What makes your oil different?

We buy from two single estates we visit every year. Every bottle is harvest-dated, cold-pressed, and bottled in an opaque bottle within weeks of pressing. No blends, no fillers, no anonymous supply chain. We value honesty and transparency. That's what we expect from our suppliers, and that's what we provide to you.

How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping within France takes 2-4 business days. International orders to Europe typically arrive within 5-7 business days. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.

Can I cook with EVOO, or only finish with it?

Accepted Answer

Yes – it's an outdated trope that EVOO can't be cooked with. High-quality EVOO is genuinely heat-stable up to about 200°C thanks to its polyphenol content. We believe some tools are better for a given job than others, though. Use the bold Picual or Moraiolo for cooking, save the Nocellara for finishing.

Why plastic?

If you're a regular in the kitchen, you know the ergonomic benefit, ease of use and professional tailoring of the squeeze bottle. We rely on the utility and function of our bottles, for people who might be reaching for it 3-4 times per dish. For people who needs to control their dose, and garnish their dish with precision. Our UV-protective opaque pigmentation keeps the oil as fresh as can possible, too.

Rest assured, all of our packaging is recyclable, refer to the individual packaging for specifics.

How should I store it?

Who are your products for?

Our products are for everyone. We aren't just for professional kitchens, or food critics. We're for the everyday cook, and anyone who wants more flavour and higher quality on their plates.

What is your returns policy?

Accepted Answer

If your oil arrives damaged or you are not satisfied with the quality, contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund — no questions asked. Please keep the original packaging for any return.

How do I know which oil to choose?

Each oil page lists tasting notes and suggested pairings. Bold, peppery oils like our Andalusian Picual suit red meats and rich dishes. Softer, fruitier oils like our Catalan Arbequina are perfect for delicate fish, soft cheeses, and even desserts. Start with the flavour profile that appeals to you most.

When do you restock?

Once per harvest season — typically November for the new Mediterranean pressings, March for second runs. Subscribe to be told first.

EU and the UK currently. We're exploring options for the US, Australia and beyond for 2027.

What's the shelf life?

Accepted Answer

Technically, it's best within 18 months of harvest date – which we print on every bottle. We recommend use within 12 months, though. Olive oil is a fresh juice, not a wine. It does not improve with age.

Can I cook with these oils, or are they just for finishing?

Our oils are versatile. Oils with higher polyphenol counts — like the Andalusian Picual and Umbrian Moraiolo — handle gentle cooking beautifully (sautéing, roasting). For high-heat frying, any extra-virgin oil will eventually degrade; we recommend reserving your finest oils for finishing and using a more neutral oil for deep frying.

What makes single-estate olive oil different from supermarket brands?

Supermarket blends typically combine oils from multiple countries and harvests to create a consistent, neutral flavour year-round. Single-estate oils come from one farm, one variety, and one harvest. You taste the actual terroir — the soil, climate, and craft of a specific place and season. It is more variable, more expressive, and, we believe, far more interesting.

Are your oils certified organic?

Some of our partner farms hold organic certification; others practice sustainable, low-intervention farming that exceeds organic standards but is not formally certified. Each product page notes the specific certification status for that oil. We visit every farm personally to verify practices.
